Every alcohol licence application needs to be considered carefully, with attention to health impacts and community wellbeing.
I designed & delivered an interactive tool that provides insight into alcohol-related harm across the local authority, focusing on health and crime data. Designed for planners, public health teams, and legal stakeholders, it shows how alcohol-related issues are distributed across the city.
Built in Tableau, the tool features a dynamic map with zoom, pan, and customisable filters, making it easy to explore ward-level data. Users can drill into specific areas or trends using intuitive controls.
By offering self-service access to licensing data, the dashboard has reduced enquiries from council staff, legal professionals, and the public, saving time and cutting down on admin costs.
